Other axe throwing venues use paint and timber to make their targets. We did too, and then we grew up.
We project whatever we want onto the end grain of long 6″ x 6″ lumber stacked up nice and high. This means your Axe will stick better, it means there are fewer wood chips, and yeah, it means we can project games on to the wood!

Here’s the deal: every axe-throwing session is 30 minutes. But if no one’s waiting for your lane when your time’s up? You. Keep. Throwing. That’s right—unlimited axe throwing until another warrior shows up to claim the lane. Just hop back in line and keep the rotation going all day long.
We’ve been slinging steel since day one at High Caliber, and now our axe game is stronger than ever. You’ll throw in our immersive forest arena—yes, there are actual trees inside—surrounded by moody lights and pumped-up vibes. Grab a cold drink, channel your inner Viking, and conquer some wood. Stress relief? Absolutely. Badassery? Guaranteed.
Our Axperts will walk you through the rules, safety, and savior-faire (a fancy French word for “what to do”) and then set you free to have some fun. They are available all day for coaching if you choose to use them.

Short answer, yes.
Your axe throwing session starts with 30 minutes of pure lumberjack glory! But, here’s the twist: if nobody’s in line after your time’s up, keep the adrenaline flowing and keep slinging steel for as long as that lane stays free. It’s first-come, first-throw, so when another group steps up, you’ll swap out, hop back in line, and wait for the next lane to open. All day long, you can rotate in and out, tearing up targets like the axe-flinging legend you are.
This isn’t just throwing axes—it’s your chance to dominate the day.

Axe throwing at High Caliber Karting & Entertainment costs $28 for unlimited play. Sessions are booked in 30-minute blocks, but guests can keep throwing as long as no one is waiting behind them. The experience includes real axes thrown at wooden targets, with both classic target options and gamified variations for the most axe throwing fun you can have in the Greater Lansing area. Glow axe throwing is available every Friday from 6 PM to close. Ages 13 and up. Closed-toe shoes required. Axe throwing is also included in the Thrills to Kill package ($75, with a go kart race and rage room session) and the All Access Pass ($95, with up to 3 go kart races and all activities). High Caliber’s 105,000 sq ft facility also features indoor go kart racing up to 50 mph, rage rooms, archery tag, gellyball battles, throwbowling, pocket soccer, a full arcade, and a full-service bar and restaurant.
