Terms & Conditions for Online Birthday Party Bookings

Cancellations: High Caliber Karting & Entertainment reserves the right to cancel or vary any scheduled offering for any reason including, but not limited to; result of weather conditions, insufficient reservations, scheduling conflicts, or events. We accept no responsibility for any loss or additional expenses arising from changes, delays or cancellations of our services and activities, however, we will always do our best to prevent anything like this from happening. If a cancellation of this nature occurs after payment has been taken, we will issue a refund to you as soon as we can and attempt to let you know prior to your first scheduled offering. Cancellation of an Online Birthday Party Booking via the host, within 14 days of the party date, will result in forfeiture of a refund.

Decorating Restrictions: With the wide range of events we host, we must be strict on the decorations we allow. All decorations must be pre-approved by the event coordinator. Absolutely no glitter, confetti, rice, flower pedals, bubbles, or other similar decorations that will pose hazards or issues with cleaning up. All candles must be tea-lite, enclosed candles. We do not want to discourage use of birthday candles but due to fire suppression and safety standards, all candles will require prior approval before use. Decorations must be removed before the conclusion of the event. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a minimum $250 charge. Kindly be aware that homemade desserts are not allowed within our venue as per Health Department regulations. If you bring homemade desserts, you will be requested to take them out of the premises. Store-bought desserts, on the other hand, are perfectly acceptable.

Final Guest Count: A final head count is due three business days before the event date. We will do whatever possible to accommodate for late additions, although large discrepancies could make this challenging. We will not adjust the invoice the day of for no-shows in your party. No guarantees will be made to accommodate additional guests. We try to accommodate and set up your event for success, but timeliness and structure dictates a great experience. Setting up the structure of your event is our expertise, and we manage the flow of experiences for you via a printed itinerary that must be followed to ensure your best experience. Any deviation outside of that itinerary is at the risk of the guest.

Liability Waivers: We require an emailed list of your guests’ who will be participating in activities (first and last names). We may also request their phone numbers to verify your guests (with common names) due to duplicate names within our database. Your guests must follow this link to complete their liability waiver: https://hckmichigan.clubspeedtiming.com/cs-registration/. This step must be completed as soon as possible after booking. Guests without completed liability waivers will not appear within our system and therefore will not be able to be scheduled for activities. It’s imperative this is done well in advance so that our team can assign memberships, activity credits, etc.
