COMMUNITY: How-To Halloween

October 22, 2022 - October 23, 2022

high caliber sponsors how to halloween

Alighty kiddies, witches, and warlocks, ya’ll ready for the biggest Halloween event of the greater Lansing area? Because HIGH CALIBER SURE IS. We’re title sponsors for the super, cool, haunted event that takes place at the Lansing Event Center on October 22-23rd; How To Halloween. So you know what that means? WE’RE GOING ALL OUT. We’re sponsoring the costume contest and you KNOW we’re showing up as a group costume. We can’t wait for you all to see us pull it off, because it’s gonna be FUN. We’ll be hanging out somewhere on the floor with throwbowling and travel axe throwing (don’t worry, it’s hella safe ????).

But we’re not just hear to toot our own horn. Let us tell you a bit more about How To Halloween.

How-To Halloween is a family-friendly festival that celebrates creativity, imagination and the innovative spirit by showcasing an exhibit hall packed with theatrical displays, interactive games, unique vendors and amazing entertainment! We ‘Frankenstein’ together the best parts of a Maker Faire, Comic Con, Craft Show, Science Museum, Music Festival and Halloween Carnival to create monstrous fun for everyone. Our mission is to inspire kids and the ‘kids at heart’ to make something spooktacular for the holiday and get excited about the creative process as they explore the many hands-on activities, how-to sessions and immersive experiences.

We have a spider-rific theme planned for our eighth annual event! You can meet Spidey and his amazing friends from The League of Enchantment, and test your superpowers as you scale our 20ft tall climbing wall. The award winning power-pop band The Shake Ups will be performing live on our main stage dressed as your favorite cartoon characters. Also included is the return of the Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk as the horde of undead invade the city and make their way from the Lansing Center to the Capitol for a frightfully fantastic photo op.  And as always, there is trick-or-treating for the kids, costume contests with big prizes, and we’ll be supporting many local non-profits and charities such as the Lansing Makers Network, the Greater Lansing Food Bank and Make-A-Wish.
