Handicapable Go-Kart Racing

High Caliber Karting & Entertainment offers high-speed go kart racing to visiting wheelchair users, providing even more accessible activities for fun! The ‘Handicapable’ operating system replaces the gas and brake pedals with hand controls placed directly behind the steering wheel.ย

Leg Rests in Handicapable accessible go kart

Loading Swing & Leg Rests

To enter the handicapable go kart, High Caliber's racing team will load you into the go kart via our lifting swing and then your legs will be strapped into place for safety inside the cart.

Hand Operated Controls

Hand controls behind the steering wheel provides accessibility for wheelchair users to control the brakes and gas the same as foot pedals would.

Such a fun place! There are so many fun activities for kids and adults alike. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, but Bea went above and beyond! She helped us schedule multiple events and was just an amazing person to talk to.

Weโ€™ll definitely be back!

A place like nonoher! We drove 6+ hours to get to this place and it did not disappoint. My Son recently sustained an injury that left him in a wheelchairr and all he has been wanting to do is drive go karts again. This place not only has a kart he can control but all the employees there were also warm and welcoming. From the bartenders who greated us upon arrival, awesome team at check-in, to the "Ginger"/Zack who calmed my nerves as a Mom and explained the process of getting my son into the kart. They have a lift if needed, leg straps and handles on the steering wheel for the gas and brake. The kart does take some effort to drive, you may want to space out your races if going multiple times. There are so many other things to do here that its not a problem. We headed over to jellyball for some fun and met some other great team members, Bea and Tre who made sure the kids all had a good time and Bea took extra time to inform us of the car show the next day.
Whether your rolling or walking you can't go wrong with the throw bowling, bags, or arcade. They also had axe throwing and a rage room that we didn't get to try out and we went 2 days in a row! If you are in a wheelchair and have limited hand function you may want to check the kart out in advance or talk to the staff. They are really accommodating and helpful.
Thanks for making this trip well worth it and helping make a birthday boy very happy!

Had the best time!
I had a wonderful experience, Bea is incredible and helped us navigate everything.

Came into High Caliber with some friends to order some food after spending time at the car show. When we went inside the line was crazy long and I was worried it was going to take a long time. I was pleasantly surprised when the line moved quickly. We all ordered a cocktail with our food and before we knew it the bartender with the glasses had made all the drinks while helping multiple other people at the same time. Great food and service, we will be back!

Griffin absolutely killed it today, and by โ€œitโ€ I mean THE BOREDOM. He definitely was cranking out the fun times by helping set us up. A real true goat.
Dominick K.
Griffin the goat. This guy literally donated both his kidneys to me since a witch on a broom stick grabbed them saying โ€œmy preciousโ€. 10/10 I can pee again
Charlotte T.
Griffen has been amazing for our visit here! He has helped my boys through lots of events and even helped them carry stuff in from the vehicle for a rage room even!
Idres A.

La'Nautica Alexander was so fun to learn axe throwing with. Had an awesome mom and son date and the axe throwing was our favorite event!
Patty N.
La'Nautica Alexander was excellent at explaining and connecting with us while having fun!!!

They call us High Caliber Karting & Entertainment for a reason, yโ€™know?

Karting Tips & Safety

  • Closed-toe shoes. Gotta keep your toe-jam from flying off and hitting the kart behind you.
  • These karts are not bumper cars. Damage the kart and it is likely to damage you.
  • There is no hard weight limit, but if you are a titan of a person, we will gladly let you sit in a kart to test how it feels.
  • Racers under the age of 16 will race at reduced speeds for their safety.
Racer training courses are available by appointment to level up their speeds if they pass the course.
